Keymedia a clear winner!

2nd May 2000

www.pearson.com, designed and produced by Keymedia has won the Annual Investor Relations website prize for 'Best Corporate Website for the Analyst'.

The Award was presented on 18 April 2002 at a dinner held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, in front of 400 City and financial executives, investors, IR professionals, company executives and financial consultancies.

www.pearson.com stood out as a clear favourite as judged by the design, content and most importantly the accessibility and usability of the site. The site was commended for providing analyst's with a comprehensible and straightforward path through the site, providing information that is up to date and appropriate.

Contenders for the award have to demonstrate clear and easy access to assorted information including press releases and company presentations of financial and strategic and product orientation. Full access to a library of past news stories and other important activity such as mergers and acquisitions was also expected of the winning site.

Jessica Stark, Internal Communications Manager at Pearson Plc said, "…analysts appreciate the speed, simplicity and usability of the site, especially having all the tools they need in one 'Investor' section. Your expert sense of usability and clear design have won you honours!"
