National Consumer Council

The National Consumer Council wanted a clean, simple design for their web pages that would convey an impression of openness and accessibility. The site had to accommodate visually impaired visitors and the graphic design had to be neutral enough to incorporate a soon-to-be-launched new logo and corporate style without completely revamping the site.

Keymedia created a clean, minimalist interface which gives quick access to high quality materials on topics relevant to the target audience. Information is presented clearly and in plain English with pages focused on single topics.

The elegant design imparts authority to the site, inspiring confidence in its content and speeds navigation, encouraging visitors to make a thorough exploration of the site.

Keymedia have recently created a discussion group for the NCC's training pack, 'Stronger Voice'. Stronger Voice is a training pack that develops the skills and expertise essential to effective representation in the consumer world. The trainers themselves can use a discussion group in which they can post issues and points of interest and discuss common issues. It is not being used to full potential at the moment and we have recommended installation of list servers.
